Wildlife Conservation

WARNING-THESE PLATES WILL ONLY BE VALID UNTIL YOUR PLATES EXPIRE IN 2025.  IN 2025 YOU WILL HAVE TO REAPPLY FOR THE NEW PLATE DESIGN AND PAY THE FEES AGAIN.


2017 WILDLIFE CONSERVATION.jpgAny person required to register a vehicle in Wyoming may apply to WYDOT for the Wildlife Conservation License Plates for any motor vehicle that is not a commercial or multipurpose vehicle.  


General Provisions

  1. A Completed application shall be mailed to the Wyoming Department of Transportation along with a fee of $180 made payable to WYDOT.  ($150 to the Wildlife Conservation Fund and $30 Specialty Plate fee)
  2. To retain eligibility in future years you will need to pay your $50 renewal fee along with your regular vehicle registration fees at your local County Treasurer's Office.
  3. Plates will be issued numerically in consecutive order and forwarded to the County Treasurer's Office of the county of your choice.
  4. Current plates must be surrendered to the Treasurer's office upon issuance of the Wildlife Conservation Plates.
