US 189 resurfacing complete

Resurfacing of 10 miles miles of US 189 immediately north of its junction with Interstate 80 at Lazeart Junction has been completed under a $2.8 million contract awarded to LeGrand Johnson Construction of Logan, Utah. The contract was awarded by the Wyoming Transportation Commission at it's October meeting and the contract completion date is Oct. 31, 2014.

WYO 28 improvements completed north of South Pass

Pavement leveling and a chip seal have been completed on a 15.3 mile section of WYO 28 under a $3.4 million contract awarded to McGarvin-Moberly Construction Co. of Worland. US 189 south of Kemmerer resurfaced

A 10.5-mile section of US 189 has been improved under a $2.8 million contract completed by LeGrand Johnson Construction Co. of Logan, Utah. The project immediately south of Kemmerer consisted of milling off deteriorating pavement and replacing it with a new layer of pavement.

US 89 project in Afton completed with 10-cent fuel tax revenue

A three-mile section of US 89 through Afton has a new layer of pavement under a $2.7 million contract completed to DePatco Inc. of St. Anthony, Idaho. The work included sidewalk replacement and new sidewalks at the south end of the project. The project is one of 19 WYDOT funded with the additional fuel tax revenue the department receive during the past year.

Paving complete on US 26-287 project

Paving is complete and traffic back to normal on the rebuilt 2.3-mile section of US 26-287 at Diversion Dam Junction west of Riverton.
