WYO 116 improvements completed

Pavement overlay work has been completed on a 5.1-mile section of WYO 116 south of Sundance by High Country Construction, Inc., of Lander. The $6.9 million project included minor widening and replacement of the bridge over Inyan Kara Creek.

Chip seals completed on northeast Wyoming highway sections

Work has been completed on a chip sealing project to extend the life of the pavement on highway sections in Campbell, Crook, Johnson, Sheridan and Weston counties. Bituminous Paving Inc. of Ortonville, Minn., completed the work under a $3.4 million contract. About $1.9 million of the funding for the project came from the 10-cent fuel tax increase. 

Lovell Main Street repairs completed with additional fuel tax revenue

Cheyenne’s Reiman Corp. has completed work on a $4.9 million project to replace and repair damaged concrete slabs on a mile of US 14A-WYO789 (Main Street) in Lovell. The road repairs accounted for $2.4 million of the total contract and were paid for with revenue from the 10-cent fuel tax increase. Also included in the contract was replacing water and sewer lines under the road at a cost of $2.5 million....

WYO 433 pavement overlay and widening completed

Work has been completed on pavement overlay and shoulder widening on 3.5 miles of WYO 433 north of Worland,. Oftedal Construction of Casper complete the work under a $5.7 million contract awarded to on Sept. 18, 2014.

WYO 432 pavement overlay completed

McGarvin-Moberly Construction of Worland has completed a $3.1 million contract for resurfacing and chip sealing 10 miles of WYO 432 south of Worland. The work was paid for with revenue from the fuel tax increase.
