WYO 296 pavement rehabilitation completed

Pavement rehabilitation on 6.5 miles of WYO 296 (Chief Joseph Highway) has been completed. The work included some shoulder flattening, a pavement overlay and a chip seal to the top of Dead Indian Pass about 37 miles northwest of Cody. H-K Contractors of Idaho Falls completed the work under a $2.7 million contract. The project was paid for with revenue from the 10-cent fuel tax increase.

WYO 130-230 pavement overlay completed

A pavement overlay is complete on a 12-mile section of WYO 130-230 north of Saratoga. The work was completed by Mountain Construction Co. of Lovell under a $3.7 million contract.

WYO 130 pavement overlay completed

A new 2-inch layer of asphalt is complete on 14 miles of WYO 130 between Centennial and Ryan Park. Worland’s McGarvin-Moberly Construction completed the work under a $3.7 million contract.

US 85 pavement overlay north of Cheyenne completed

Simon Contractors and Subsidiaries of Cheyenne has completed a $3.86 million project to grind off deteriorating pavement and replace it with a new layer of pavement on 10 miles of US 85 immediately east of I-25 north of Cheyenne. The work was paid for with revenue from the 10-cent fuel tax increase.

Bridge rehabilitation completed with 10-cent fuel tax revenue funding

Thirteen bridges on highways in Big Horn, Fremont, Hot Springs, Park and Washakie counties were rehabilitated under a $2.9 million project completed by Gerber Construction of Lehi, Utah. The project was funded with revenue from the 10-cent fuel tax increase.
