WYDOT seeks public input for Long Range Transportation Plan

WYDOT is asking for the public's assistance in updating it's Long Range Transportation Plan. The department is asking Wyoming residents to complete a short survey about their perception of the state's existing transportation, and their priorities for the system in the future. Speed limit now 80 mph from Sundance to South Dakota

An 80 mph speed limit is now in effect on a 17-mile section of Interstate 90 in northeast Wyoming. The increase affects I-90 between the East Sundance Interchange (milepost 190)  and the South Dakota border (milepost 207). Temporary bridge open on US 85 in Lusk

A temporary bridge is now open and carrying traffic on US 85 over the Union Pacific Railroad tracks in Lusk. The bridge is carrying two-way, legal-load traffic with a speed limit of 20 mph. Any traffic that has an oversize or overweight permit must use WYO 270 through Manville and Lance Creek to bypass Lusk. There is no pedestrian access across the bridge.
