70 mph speed limit in effect on WYO 130 north of Saratoga

The speed limit is now 70 mph on WYO 130 between I-80 and Saratoga. The 19-mile highway section is the third in the state to get the higher speed limit this year. A new smart phone app for road and travel information has been released by the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT). The Wyoming 511 app provides pre-trip and en route travel information, and can be used to provide location information to friends, family or emergency responders. Fulton named assistant chief engineer

Keith Fulton of Cheyenne has been named WYDOT’s assistant chief engineer for engineering and planning.  Fulton moves to his new position after serving as state bridge engineer since 2010. He replaces Gregg Fredrick, who assumed duties as WYDOT chief engineer late last year.
