Fisher Canyon Road (Road 228) to close next week at BNSF crossing

Laramie County Road 228 (Fisher Canyon Road/Roger Canyon Road) will close at the BNSF railroad crossing on Tuesday, Dec. 19, so crews can repair the crossing, weather permitting. Retired WHP K-9 Bonnie passes away

The Wyoming Highway Patrol announces with a heavy heart the passing of retired narcotic detection K-9 Bonnie. Bonnie became a Wyoming Highway Patrol K-9 in fall 2008. Bonnie was assigned as a narcotic detection K-9 in the Cheyenne area. Bonnie worked in the Cheyenne area until her retirement in January 2014. She retired due to health issues, which made it difficult for her to continue her career. ...

15th Street Bridge to reopen on Dec. 12

With repairs to the 15th Street Bridge over Interstate 80 nearing completion, the bridge reopened to two-way traffic on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
