WYDOT and WHP Gun Free Zones
The following information is pursuant to W.S. § 6-8-105, Wearing or Carrying Concealed Weapons. which was adopted in the 2025 legislative session.
Under this legislation, State of Wyoming agencies have been directed to determine space and/or facilities within their operations that are exempt from the statutory requirement to allow concealed carry in public buildings, if any.
Below are the exempt locations for WYDOT and the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
