Bridge Alternatives

Option 1 -  4-lane structure

The PELS recommended four lanes of travel through segment 1, which is the section that encompasses the Snake River Bridge.  Option 1 provides a cost effective four lane bridge while trying to minimize the overall footprint. 

Option 1 -  Raised median

Option 2 increases the overall footprint of the bridge and preliminary estimates indicate this would add $4,000,000 to the bridge cost of option 1.  

Option 3 -  Separate Structures

Option 3 increases the overall footprint of the bridge and preliminary estimated indicate this would add $2,200,000 to the bridge cost of option 1.
