Orin Junction and Cheyenne River rest areas to temporarily close for repairs starting April 10

The rest areas at Orin Junction and Cheyenne River will be closed starting at noon on Monday, April 10 so crews can install tower lights in the parking lots. The Orin Junction rest area is on I-25 13 miles south of Douglas. The Cheyenne River rest area is on WYO 59 43 miles north of Douglas. Snowy Range Road traffic to be detoured to Garfield and Cedar streets

As part of the Harney Street Bridge project in Laramie, traffic on Snowy Range Road (WYO 130/230) will be detoured onto Garfield and Cedar streets for several months. Gooseberry Rest Area reopens

Gooseberry Rest Area reopened Thursday after repairs were completed, according to Shawn Coggins, Wyoming Department of Transportation maintenance foreman in Meeteetse.
