Aeronautics Commission to meet April 9 in Casper

The Wyoming Aeronautics Commission will meet April 9 in Casper for its regular business meeting.

The commission will meet at 11 a.m. in the Mountain View Conference Room of the Holiday Inn Casper East for an education session on capacity purchase agreements presented by Wyoming Department of Transportation Administrator Amy Surdam. The presentation will be followed by the commission lunch and business meeting. The regular business meeting begins at 1 p.m. and will include votes on Air Service Enhancement Program grant applications from Cody and Jackson.

The commission may hold an executive session at the end of the meeting if necessary.

Commission meetings are open to the public.

The next regularly scheduled business meeting will be June 18-19 in Cheyenne.

The seven commissioners, appointed by the governor for six-year terms, approve grants and loans of state and federal money for airport construction, maintenance, improvements, marketing and air service enhancements.

The commission holds six in-person meetings per year.
