Aeronautics Commission to meet in Rock Springs

The Wyoming Aeronautics Commission will meet 9-11 a.m., Sept. 14 at the Holiday Inn Pilot Butte Room in Rock Springs.

The commission will vote on WACIP budget modifications.

The commission may hold an executive session at the end of the meeting if necessary.

Commission meetings are open to the public.

The commission will also attend the Wyoming Airport Operators Association Conference Sept. 12-14, also at the Rock Springs Holiday Inn.

The next regularly scheduled business meeting will be Dec. 10-11 in Cheyenne.

The seven commissioners, appointed by the governor for six-year terms, approve grants and loans of state and federal money for airport construction, maintenance, improvements, marketing and air service enhancements.

The commission holds six in-person meetings per year.
