A $1.3 million highway rehabilitation project is under way on WYO 31 near Hyattville.
"Earth work has started, and this project includes shoulder flattening, pipe extensions, and an asphalt pavement leveling and overlay," said Michael Miller, Wyoming Department of Transportation resident engineer in Basin. "The contractor is currently working on dirt and pipe extensions. Paving is scheduled for the first part of May."
The Wyoming Transportation Commission awarded the roadway rehabilitation project to McGarvin-Moberly Construction Co., of Worland in March.
Project completion date is Oct. 31, 2019.
