Cattleguards on WYO 70 to be replaced

BAGGS, Wyo. – Cattleguards at six locations on WYO 70 east of Savery will be replaced over the next month.

Crews with 71 Construction are scheduled to begin work on Monday, Sept. 23, weather permitting. 

The cattleguards are spread out along WYO 70 from MM 28.7 to MM 17.9, which is between the Colorado state line east to just beyond Forest Road 852.

Crews will replace each cattleguard one side at a time. During each replacement, a temporary traffic signal will be in place to allow traffic through the work zone.

Drivers should be aware of the construction and use caution in the work area. Hunters should also keep the construction in mind as they plan trips to the Sierra Madre.
The entire project is scheduled to be complete by the end of October.
