Chip seal work begins in Laramie, Albany and Carbon counties

LARAMIE, Wyo. – Crews with Bituminous Paving Inc. have started chip seal work at several locations in Southeast Wyoming over the next two weeks.

Work began Monday, June 3, and is expected to continue over the next two weeks, weather permitting. Crews will be moving around among the following locations:

  • WYO 34, MM 9.70-22.36 (Albany County)
  • CIG Rd. – Sinclair, MM 0.00-1.47 (Carbon County)
  • 287 Bypass – Rawlins, RM 0.77-2.38 (Carbon County)
  • US 85 – south of Cheyenne, MM 0.00-3.91 (Laramie County)
  • Driver Services/Etchepare Road (Laramie County)
  • Warren Avenue Parking Area (Laramie County)
  • US 30/E. Lincolnway near Holliday Park, MM 365.28-365.79 (Laramie County)
  • I-80 Service Road, MM 7.89-16.03 (Laramie County)
  • WYO 215, MM 9.78-17.14 (Laramie County)

Drivers should be aware of potential construction and delays and are reminded to drive safely in work zones.
