Parts of Interstate 80 still remain closed this morning, Saturday, April 14, due to wintry conditions and events in Nebraska.

Strong gusty winds are expected to persist across east central, south central and southeastern Wyoming for much of Saturday. Wind speed is expected to be 25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

Friday’s storm resulted in slick spots and wintry conditions on several parts of I-80 in southeast Wyoming. The storm also has impacted Nebraska along I-80, making travel difficult.

Crews are out clearing the roads and making travel safer for motorists.
