Fort Steele rest area closed for maintenance

RAWLINS, Wyo. – The Fort Steele rest area will be closed for several days for maintenance work.

Crews will be paving the rest area. It closed today, July 11, and is estimated to reopen Friday morning, July 14.

The Fort Steele rest area is off Exit 228 east of Sinclair in Carbon County.
