I-25 road work scheduled for Aug. 14-15; detour to be in place

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Drivers on southbound I-25 in Cheyenne should be prepared for road work and lane closures this week as WYDOT crews repair the deck of the bridge over Missile Drive/WYO 210.

During construction, the driving (right) lane of I-25 will be closed in the work area, as will Exit 10D (Missile Drive/Happy Jack Road). As a result, drivers wishing to use that exit will be routed to Exit 9 (Lincolnway) and then back on I-25 northbound to the interchange.

The exit ramp to Gate 2 at F.E. Warren Air Force Base will remain open.

Work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 14 and 15, weather permitting.

Drivers are asked to use caution in the work zone.
