I-80 work begins Wednesday near the Laramie/Albany county line

Construction crews will begin work on Wednesday to mill and repave a section of Interstate 80 in western Laramie County.

Work will take place between reference marker 336 near the Laramie/Albany county line and reference marker 341. Both the eastbound and westbound lanes will be affected.

Drivers should expect lane closures while work takes place.

Mountain Construction is the contractor for the $4.7 million project.

Work will be complete by the fall.

This project is one of several on I-80 in Laramie County and across Wyoming this year.
