Patching work in Cheyenne and Medicine Bow to begin next week

LARAMIE, Wyo. – A job to patch, or repave short sections of roads in Cheyenne and Medicine Bow will begin next week and will continue through August.
Crews with Knife River are scheduled to start next week, weather permitting. They will begin in Cheyenne and then move to Medicine Bow during Frontier Days before returning to Cheyenne.

The schedule is below. All dates are weather permitting. Some work will take place at night.

Cheyenne

  • July 11-12: Central Avenue from the WYDOT Headquarters entrance to the Bishop Boulevard crosswalk.
  • Aug. 5-20: College Drive/WYO 212 from the west entrance of LCCC east to Crow Creek.
  • Aug. 12-28: Lincolnway/U.S. 30 from Nationway to Morrie Avenue.

Medicine Bow

  • July 15 - Aug. 7: WYO 487 from MM 0 (at U.S. 30/287) to MM 4.5.

Drivers should use caution in work zones and obey traffic control.
