CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Drivers in Cheyenne should prepare for delays on sections of College Drive and Lincolnway next week as a paving project begins.
On College Drive, work will take place from the west entrance of LCCC east to Crow Creek. Crews will begin milling and repaving that section on Monday, Aug. 12. Work will take place from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and will last about two weeks.
During working hours, College Drive will be reduced to one lane with alternating traffic. Delays are expected.
Work on Lincolnway will happen from Nationway to Morrie Avenue. Workers will begin curb and gutter work on Monday, Aug. 12, which will last about a week during daylight hours. Milling and paving will begin after the College Drive section is complete and will take place at night.
Lincolnway will be reduced to one lane in each direction during milling and paving.
Knife River is the contractor for the project, which also included a section of Central Avenue in Cheyenne and a section of WYO 487 in and near Medicine Bow.
Drivers should use caution in work zones and obey traffic control.
