Slope flattening project begins next week between Manderson and Basin

A $1.2 million project to flatten slopes and install guardrail is scheduled to begin Sept. 16 on US 16/20 between Basin and Manderson.

"Motorists should expect traffic delays during dirt hauling operations," said Wyoming Department of Transportation resident engineer Michael Miller of Basin.

The Basin/Manderson project is scheduled between mileposts 187 and 195.

Wilson Brothers Construction Inc., of Cowley, is the prime contractor.
