Teton Pass to close tonight for avalanche mitigation

The Wyoming Department of Transportation has scheduled a closure of Teton Pass at 8 p.m. on Jan. 17 for avalanche mitigation work.

Reduced visibility, winter driving conditions and increasing avalanche hazard may force an earlier closure. Parking restrictions at the summit of Teton will be strictly enforced. Highway travelers and backcountry users are advised to plan accordingly. Thank you for your cooperation.
