RAWLINS, Wyo. – Interstate 80 near Fort Steele will have temporary stops next week as a utility company installs an electric line over the interstate.
The stops will happen at MM 229, which is just east of the Fort Steele interchange. They are scheduled from Monday, Oct. 7, through Thursday, Oct. 10.
During the time each individual wire is brought over the interstate, traffic will be briefly stopped by Wyoming Highway Patrol troopers. Once the wire is across, traffic will be allowed to flow freely.
Drivers in the area should expect brief delays while the installation happens.
