WYDOT closes Cattleman’s Bridge off Spring Gulch Road Sunday

The Cattleman's Bridge off Spring Gulch Road was closed on Sunday May 27 and remains closed due to heavy scouring on one of the temporary bridge piers.

The foundation of that pier has been compromised and the bridge has been closed. 

The Wyoming Department of Transportation and Teton County engineers have been on site to evaluate the damage.

There is no estimated opening time as of today. More information will be available after engineers evaluate the structure. 

The completion of the new bridge is still several weeks out.

The contract was awarded to Reiman Corp. In October of 2017.
