Winter weather continues in Wyoming this week

I-90.jpgWyoming will continue to see snowfall in different parts of the state this week.

Travelers will see snow, wind and colder temperatures throughout the state on Monday. Scattered light to moderate snow will be seen in the western, northern and southern mountains, information from DayWeather indicated.

Periods of heavy snow will be seen through late afternoon in the Snowy and Sierra Madre mountains in the south. Temperatures will drop on the eastern side of the state from an Arctic frontal boundary. 

Strong winds along the Interstate 80 corridor will decrease this afternoon.

On Tuesday, motorists will continue to experience scattered light snow in the western, northern and southern mountain areas of the state, DayWeather indicated. Temperatures will be in the high 20s and 30s with lows in the teens and 20s.

The weather should remain dry for the rest of the week with snow a possibility toward the weekend.
