Retaining wall project begins in July on US 14 in Shell Canyon

A $1.8 million project to replace timber retaining walls with mechanically-stabilized earth (MSE) retaining walls is scheduled to begin in early July on US 14 through Shell Canyon. The Wyoming Department of Transportation reopened WYO 230 from Woods Landing to the Colorado state line after officials deemed it was safe from the Badger Creek wildfire.
