Fremont County law enforcement officers make 386 traffic stops over Memorial Day weekend

As part of a county-wide, multi-agency seat belt enforcement operation this past Memorial Day weekend, Fremont County law enforcement officers stopped 386 vehicles and issued 4 seat belt citations. During the 4-day operation, the focus was on seat belts, but area law enforcement also arrested a drunk driver. Survey shows residents satisfied with state's roads

State residents continue to be satisfied with the way the Wyoming Department of Transportation is taking care of the state’s transportation system. Transportation Commission awards $78.7 million in highway contracts in May

Construction crews will soon start work on another section of road south of Jackson as part of an overall corridor improvement plan. WYO 50 at Lakeway Road in Gillette scheduled to close for reconstruction May 28

GILLETTE – WYDOT and its contractors have begun work on widening WYO 50 from W. Lakeway Road south to Southern Drive.
