Search and Rescue

The new Search and Rescue specialty plate design is available now.

Any person required to register a vehicle in Wyoming may apply for the Search and Rescue License Plates for any motor vehicle that is not a commercial vehicle.  

General Provisions

1. Search & Rescue license plates are available through WYDOT or your local County Treasurer upon payment of the $180 application fee.
2. To retain eligibility in future years you will need to pay your $50 renewal fee along with your regular vehicle registration fees at your local County Treasurer's office.
3. Current plates must be surrendered to the Treasurer's office upon issuance of the Search and Rescue Plates.
