Aeronautics Commission to meet Jan. 19 in Cheyenne

The Wyoming Aeronautics Commission will meet in Cheyenne on Jan. 19, beginning with a workshop at 10:45 a.m., and followed by a business meeting tentatively scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m.

The meetings will be conducted in the second-floor conference room at the WYDOT Aeronautics Division Building, 200 E. 8th Ave.

The workshop will include presentations on the proposed Air Service Enhancement Program Priority Rating Model and the Wyoming Aviation Capital Improvement Program.

The seven commissioners, appointed by the governor for six-year terms, approve grants and loans of state and federal money for airport construction, maintenance, improvements, marketing and air service enhancements.

They meet in person quarterly, and conduct teleconferences on the third Tuesday of each of the other eight months.
