Aeronautics Commission to meet June 19 in Cheyenne

The Wyoming Aeronautics Commission will meet June 19 in Cheyenne for its regular business meeting.

The commission will meet at 1 p.m. in the Wyoming Department of Transportation auditorium at 5300 Bishop Blvd. following the noon commission lunch.

The commission will consider an air service application, the capital improvement plan and other commission business.  The commission may hold an executive session at the end of the meeting if necessary. Commission meetings are open to the public.

The next regularly scheduled business meeting will be Aug. 7 by teleconference.

The seven commissioners, appointed by the governor for six-year terms, approve grants and loans of state and federal money for airport construction, maintenance, improvements, marketing and air service enhancements. The commission holds six in-person meetings per year.
